Before I was confident, competent and content with who I was and what I stood for. But as I progressed through 12 years plus into the relationship I didn’t recognise myself. ⠀⠀⠀

I wouldn’t spend any money on myself even though I would work 5 days a week and go through daily 4 hour commutes. ⠀⠀

Why? ⠀⠀

Because I would feel shame about spending money without his permission as he had programmed me to believe that I couldn’t do let alone say anything right. ⠀⠀

Years after I left the relationship I found myself earning money just for me to spend it as quick as I could so that he wouldn’t take it away from me.
Years after I left the relationship I would judge myself for every single piece of content I would share, because even though the relationship was over his words triggered me.
Years after I left the relationship I would be like a chameleon in my friendship circles and wouldn’t share all parts of myself because of the fear of being seen in my fullness.
All because even though the relationship was over I was still energetically connected to him. ⠀⠀

You may have left the toxic shame fueled environment, but it can years for the shame to actually leave you. ⠀⠀

So why do we need to be healed now?⠀⠀

Shame doesn’t serve us, but many of us still walk around with it unconsciously.
It manifests into all types of dis-ease like muscle pain, addictions and in more severe cases heart and lung complications
We are women who have gone through trial and tribulations to even have the freedom to come through this and be in a place to empower others. ⠀⠀

It’s time we owned our power because goodness knows we spent long enough bound in shackles, being convinced we were not worthy of speaking our truth. ⠀⠀

I believe that we have been fed many lies that a life we dream of is for someone else. ⠀⠀
