My story
I know — because I lived it for years.
I was the woman closing £700k SaaS deals over the phone. Generating £120 million in revenue for someone else’s company. Delivering leadership programmes to HSBC, Aviva, Johnson & Johnson. Standing in boardrooms full of executives who couldn’t believe how much I knew.
Then I’d go home. Check my account. And wonder how I was still choosing between a bill and a dream.
There’s a specific memory I keep coming back to. I’m sitting at my kitchen table at 1 AM, staring at my bank balance. I’d just come off a call that closed a deal worth more than I’d earn that entire year. The company sent champagne to the office. I went home and ate toast because it was the end of the month.
That was the night I stopped asking “what’s wrong with me?” and started asking a much better question: “What’s wrong with the system I’m using?”
The answer took three years, 60-hour weeks, and rebuilding my life from the ground up to find. But here it is:
The strategy was never the problem. The regulation was.
Every business system I tried assumed I had consistent energy. Predictable focus. A nervous system that could “just push through” on demand. I don’t. I have ADHD, OCD, dyslexia, and dyspraxia. My brain booms, then burns. And every system I used burned with it.
So I stopped using their systems. And I built my own.
Not from a textbook. From hypnotherapy training, somatic practice, EFT, NLP, DBT, and two decades of selling — including the years I sold brilliantly for everyone except myself.

I did all of that while navigating ADHD, OCD, dyslexia, and dyspraxia. And I did most of it for other people.
I’m also a certified hypnotherapist, meditation teacher, EFT master practitioner, Reiki master, and NLP practitioner. I wrote FIREPROOF and The Rejection Sensitivity Journal. I’ve been trained in DBT, somatic coaching, and sales psychology.
